American Idol Top 8 Results 4-5-2012 – DeAndre Brackensick sent home

After millions of votes cast, DeAndre Brackensick was the one voted off on tonight’s American Idol Results show (April 28, 2011). Brackensick weathered the elimination alongside Hollie Cavanagh and Elise Testone while 5 contestants were announced safe and headed back to the couch.

DeAndre Brackensick wowed the judges Wednesday night with a take on DeBarge’s “I Like It” but America didn’t show enough support. And on the results night, idol judges JLo, Randy and Stevens, unfortunately didn’t use the SAVE card.

The Top 7, then, includes Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon, Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Skylar Laine and Hollie Cavanagh.

American Idol Top 9 Results 3/29/2012 – Heejun Han gets the boot

Top 9 becomes 8 as one American Idol hopeful headed straight home after receiving the fewest amount of votes among the Top 9 contenders tonight. Did America get it right?

Heejun Han was the lowest vote-getter on American Idol Top 9 performances and was headed home tonight. In last night’s show, the contestants took songs from their own idols and Heejun performed ‘A Song For You’ by Donny Hathaway and received praises, fair enough to impress the judges as well as the televiewers back home.

After being told he was the one sent packing, and landed in the bottom 3 with Skylar and Hollie, He-Man had one last chance to sing ‘A Song For You’ and try to change the mind of the judges but failed.
