Jessica Sanchez: “My throat isn’t feeling at its best.”

A day before her Top 3 Idol performance night, Filipino-Mexican Jessica Sanchez on Wednesday posted out an alarming tweet: she has a sore throat.

Jessica Sanchez is one of three finalists in tv’s most popular singing contest. Last Tuesday she had come home to an enthusiastic reunion with relatives, friends and neighbors in Chula Vista, San Diego, California last weekend as part of the Idol’s ‘Homecoming’ tradition. Performing on a hot day may have caused the sore throat.

Sanchez made the Top 3 along with Phillip Phillips and Joshua Ledet after Hollie Cavanagh was voted off last week, making her the only female contestant left standing.

The remaining finalists are set to perform three songs on Wednesday night – judges’ choice, mentor Jimmy Iovine’s choice and contestant’s choice. Can she survive tonight’s performances?
