American Idol 2012 List of Performers: Aerosmith Joins Rihanna in the Finale Lineup

As Idol fans sweat out the remaining two weeks before they find out whether Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez or Phillip Phillips will be crowned the new champion, more info have emerged about who will perform on the season 11 finale on Wednesday night (May 23).

Fox announced Tuesday that the 24-year-old singer Rihanna will be one of the guest performers during Idol’s big finale, belting her latest single “Where Have You Been.” Aerosmith (Steven Tyler’s band) also set to debut a brand-new single.

Last year’s winner Scotty McCreery will return to the stage of American Idol on Tuesday and Wednesday during the much-anticipated Season 11 finale of the popular FOX show set to sing ‘Please, Remember Me.’

The American Idol finale will air on Tuesday, May 22 at 8/7c and Wednesday, May 23 at 8/7c live at the Nokia Theatre L.A. and on Fox.
